Each year an outstanding Club woman is named Volunteer of the Year. She is chosen based on the number of hours she spent devoting volunteer time to club activities. Board members are not eligible for this award.
Jeannie Campbell joined the Civic Club after retiring in October 2022 looking for a way to stay busy and serve the community. She has certainly achieved her goal! In addition to the Civic Club, Jeannie volunteers at Habitat, completed the Park Naturalist program and started her own beehive. For the Civic Club, she jumped right in to help with raffle ticket sales, helped with the café and Antique show securing sponsorships and been a great source of information to market the Club and our activities. In all she gave more than 175 hours to the club in 2023.
